Media Types per Provider

Authologic uses various providers to ensure stability, flexibility and wide variety of features to our customers. However, various providers support different media types when providing the verification functionalities. The following document provides information what kind of media types you may expect depending on the provider being used.

Currently, the following providers are mentioned:

Onfido

The following media types are expected to be present when working with Onfido provider:

  • application/pdf - expected when working with ID card, passport, residence permit.
  • image/jpg - expected when working with ID card, passport, residence permit.
  • image/jpeg - expected when working with ID card, passport, residence permit.
  • image/png - expected when working with ID card, passport, residence permit or liveness check.
  • video/mp4 - expected when working with liveness check.
  • video/webm - expected when working with liveness check.

Idenfy

The following media types are expected to be present when working with Idenfy provider:

  • image/png - expected when working with ID card, passport, driving license, residence permit or liveness check.
  • video/mp4 - expected when working with ID card, passport, driving license, residence permit or liveness check.

SumSub

The following media types are expected to be present when working with SumSub provider:

  • image/jpeg - expected when working with ID card, passport, residence permit or liveness check.
  • image/png - expected when working with ID card, passport, residence permit or liveness check.
  • video/mp4 - expected when working with liveness check.

IdWIse

The following media types are expected to be present when working with IdWIse provider:

  • image/jpeg - expected when working with ID card, passport, driving license, residence permit, POA or liveness check.
